Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Carom seeds/Ajwain/omam - 1/2 tsp flat
Asafoetida/hing - a generous pinch
Salt - 3/4 tsp or equally needed
Oil - 1 tbsp for dough
Oil for deep frying
