Sugar - i 1/2 tbsp
Milk - i cup
Rice flour - two tsp
Salt to taste

Coconut crude oil - two tsp
Mustard seeds - i tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Red Chillies or dark-green chillies - 2
Curry leaves - a sprig
For Garnishing
Grated kokosnoot - two tbsp (optional)

Preparation
Peel the peel , discard the seeds together with chop pumpkin into minor pieces. Use tender pumpkin for this kootu.
Method
