   Onion - 1/2 loving cup sliced
   Gram flour - 1/2 cup
   Turmeric pulverization - 1/4 tsp
   Chilli pulverization - equally needed
   Carom seeds/ajwain - 1/4 tsp
   Coriander leaves - two tbsp chopped
   Salt needed
   Oil for frying

   For the Seasoning

   Oil - two tbsp
   Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
   Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
   Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
   Dry reddish chillies - 3-4
   Hing/asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
   Onion - 1 medium size chopped
   Garlic - 3-4 (grated/minced)
   Ginger - 1 1/2 inch patch (grated/minced)
   Curry leaves - a sprig

   Top upwards Seasoning

   Oil - two tsp
   Cumin seeds
   Red Chilli Powder

   For Garnishing

   Coriander leaves
